Mark is a successful full-time oil painter who has extensive training and education. He received a BFA in Illustration and a Bachelor of Science in Art Education through Brigham Young University - Idaho in 2010. Mark taught art in the public high school setting for 8 years, and has personally mentored under the renown artists: Leon Parson , Jim Wilcox, Grant Redden , and Greg Beecham.

Mark has spent thousands and thousands of hours working at his craft and is excited to share the knowledge he has gained throughout his experience as a student, a teacher, and as a successful professional painter.

Though Mark has only been a full-time artist since May of 2018 when he resigned from his public education career, Mark has averaged a six figure income from his art over the last five years.
